Just as every person searches for a way to come closer to their creator, I commune daily by creating art and conveying beauty through the eye of both a woman and the spirit. My early art pieces included impressionistic oil, watercolors and black & white ink drawings.
Currently I am working with acrylic. Self taught, I am a painter with an inspirational flair. I took on an unfamiliar endeavor melding together the abstract nature of color and the iconic parables of the bible and meta-physical images. Extravagant colors and skewed perspectives exemplify the unseen forces challenging the viewer to examine the reality of the world around them. The “Bible Stories” series is an illumination of God’s Spirit and an example of one woman’s enigmatic satiation through God’s gift of creating beauty. I was born in Seoul, Korea, educated both in Korea and the United States. My travels abroad have immensely expanded my perspective of art at a time, when historically and culturally, “East Meets West” has become part of our daily reality and experience.

Objective: My passion for painting and teaching art has led me to incorporate and utilize my skills in art and nutrition to offer a holistic approach to healing people’s mind, body and spirit.
