Melba Artea

I live in the beautiful city of Corona, CA.  I enjoy painting with oils and mix media.    I have a passion 

 for painting realism however, I have been using my creativity by adding loose brush strokes and 

 intense paint colors for more interest.   I have a special love for nature which is why you will find that 

 many of my paintings include animals and sea life.   I also enjoy painting pets and custom portraits. 

 My talent as an artist began as a child when holding a pencil.  I loved drawing and continue to do so 

 today.  I began my paintings with acrylic paint until I was introduced to oils.   I love oil paints.   I have 

 been painting for over 30 years while working full time   I am now retired and I’m dedicating a lot of 

 my time in my studio creating beautiful artwork  I am grateful and blessed to be able to do so.
